Seeping Booty!

Now, I know that title probably took your breath away being gross and all! Let me just tell you, that this is what my child wants to be for Halloween!
My dear sweet completely Innocent daughter is going to be Sleeping Beauty for Halloween, it's just "Seeping Booty" when she says it. I laugh at this because it is so sweet! She will be the cutest "Seeping Booty" out there, no other "Seeping Booty" will compare to my "Seeping Booty"....Did I write "Seeping Booty" to much, is that puking I hear from some of you? Sorry!
What are your kids going to be for Halloween? What are your plans for Trick or Treating?
We are going to go to Downtown Edmond to their Trick or Treat On The Street event and then head on over to the Gray's for a Fall Festival of sorts!
I'll post pics when I get some!

Homecation part 1

Casey and I decided a long time ago that we like to go weekend vacations throughout the year rather than a week long vacation. The only problem with that is we are limited to where we can go. We've been to Branson (which I love), we've been to Tulsa way to many times since moving from there. We've been to almost all the big cities in Texas, and Kansas...Colorado is just to far, and we have not ventured to Arkansas, which I have heard it's great.

So this past weekend we decided that we were going to go to Ft. Worth, it's not that far, B hasn't been there, and we were going to go to their Botanical Gardens, Science Museum and a Children's Theatre. Well we were having a horrible time finding a hotel that was cheap but nice. So, two days before we were to leave I told Casey that we needed to stay home and go to the same things here that Ft. Worth has. It turned out to be a wonderful weekend, we took Friday off and went to the Botanical Gardens, or Myriad Gardens, or Crystal Bridge...whatever you want to call it. We had a blast...here are some pics of B at the "Jungle" as she called it. I will post later some great plant pics that I got.

Adding Family Members

There comes a time in most peoples lives when they feel it’s the right time to add a member to their family. We are at that time right now. Casey and I agree on what we want for our family:

It can be male or female…makes no difference to us.
Must be gentle
Must love people
Must love to go on walks
Must love kids
Must be able to sleep in a crate
Must not shed
Should not bark A LOT
No digging

Yes, my friends I am talking about a dog! We had a dog in the past and well, if you have known us for a while then you know why we don’t have him (Harley) anymore.

We loved that dog, and we still to this day think about him and we find his hair in random places in our house that he never lived in. He was an amazing dog 99% of the time. Every time I see a Basset trotting along the street with its owner I get a smile on my face and a tear in my eye. See, I am still so in love with him….I miss him. Anyway I digress!

Casey and I have been on the hunt for the perfect dog for our family, and since we love dogs so much we are having a hard time pin pointing just one type of breed. People I ask will always tell me why the breed they have is the best and I am sure it is for their family, but what about my family. Here are some pics of breeds that we like and feel are the most appropriate for our family, so please tell me which one you think we should get! Also, if I don’t have a pic of one that you think we should consider please by all means tell me and I will look it up.

Australian Shepherd

Beagle

Boxer

Golden Retriever

Italian Greyhound
Keeshond
